Sewing Machine CAD and Animation

Sewing machines are beautifully designed and most are fully mechanical. Knobs and switches allow the user to change stitching width, step size, direction, and even patterns. In this project, our three-person team modeled more than 100 parts in this sewing machine with Creo. In 3Ds Max, we added color, texture, and decals and animated how it is put together and how it functions.

I modeled all the casing and the internal components below on the right.
